ACT reaches 70 percent 12+ fully vaccinated

The ACT has reached the important milestone of 70 percent of 12+ Canberrans fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

We are the first jurisdiction in Australia to reach this rate of vaccination coverage and we couldn’t be prouder of our community.

Thank you to everyone who has been vaccinated or is booked in to be vaccinated in the coming weeks.

If you haven’t been vaccinated yet, there are appointments available. More information on vaccine eligibility and where you can get vaccinated is on the ACT COVID-19 website.

Stay COVID safe

We continue to remind Canberrans that we are still in lockdown. This means minimising your time in the community and only leaving your home for the approved reasons.

Where possible, you should also continue to undertake essential activities within your local region.

When out in the community, make sure you are:

  • wearing a mask and wearing it properly
  • maintaining good hand hygiene
  • physical distancing from people outside of your household - at least 1.5 metres, and
  • check in everywhere you go with the Check In CBR app.
