The main symptoms of COVID-19 are:
- sore throat
- shortness of breath
- loss of smell or taste.
Less common symptoms are:
- runny or blocked nose
- muscle pain
- joint pain
- loss of appetite
Symptoms can develop between two to 14 days after you are exposed to the virus.
Most commonly, symptoms develop five or six days after exposure.
