11 August 2021

Anyone who was in the Dubbo Regional Council local government area (LGA) between 11.59pm Sunday 1 August 2021 and 11.59pm Thursday 5 August 2021 and is now in the ACT should get a COVID-19 test and isolate until they receive a negative result.

ACT Health is asking people who have been in the Dubbo Regional Council LGA to get a test as a response to the NSW Government announcing a lockdown for anyone who has been in Dubbo after 1 August 2021, the notification of COVID-19 cases in the area and recent positive wastewater detections.

Dubbo Regional Council was declared a COVID-19 affected area by the ACT from 11.59pm Thursday 5 August 2021. Anyone who has been in Dubbo Regional Council after this time and is seeking to enter the ACT requires an exemption and will need to quarantine for 14 days.

Testing is available at the following locations:

  • Weston Creek COVID-19 Testing Clinic – 24 Parkinson Street, Weston – open 7.30am-10pm, seven days a week
  • Drive Through COVID-19 Testing at Exhibition Park in Canberra – gates open at 8.30am and testing operates from 9.30am-5pm (last car accepted at 5pm), seven days a week
