What is a 'COVID-19 affected area'?
A COVID-affected area is a location that the Chief Health Officer has designated as being affected by COVID-19 in a public health direction.
Unless an area is specifically designated in the public health direction, it is not considered a COVID-affected area.
If a location has a confirmed case, but is not defined in a public health direction, it is not considered a COVID-19 affected area.
Please be aware that if a destination isn't considered a COVID-19 affected area, you must still follow ACT Health advice and the advice from that state or territory.
Current COVID-19 affected areas
There are currently no designated COVID-19 affected areas.
It is your responsibility to understand travel restrictions other states and territories have in place.
