The ACT's pathway forward

Preparing for respiratory illnesses during winter

The ACT Government is prepared to respond to COVID-19 and influenza (flu) over the winter period.

We have looked at a variety of scenarios that might arise and how they could be managed.

In addition to COVID-19, we are expecting widespread flu this winter as this will be the first significant flu season in 2 years.

Our winter preparedness plan 2022 (PDF 301KB) ensures we can scale our response depending on the needs of the community, and to balance health, social and economic factors.

COVID-19 in the ACT 2022

2022 is underway and our focus is on how we can live with COVID-19 (PDF 233KB).

The ACT Government continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation in the ACT and will adapt our response as necessary.

Planning is underway so we are prepared and ready for potential future waves and new variants.

Our focus remains on protecting those most vulnerable in our community.

The ACT's pathway forward 2021

The ACT Government's pathway forward 2021 outlines gradual and safe steps towards a COVID normal life in the ACT.
