Updated travel directions for Queensland

ACT Health has updated travel directions in place for Queensland (QLD).

The stay-at-home requirement for people who had been in the parts of South East Queensland from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast, Townsville, Magnetic Island and Palm Island areas has been lifted from 6pm Saturday 3 July 2021.

Anyone who has spent time in these LGAs in the previous 14 days will still need to complete an online declaration form prior to travel to the ACT.

If you are returning to the ACT please be extra vigilant for symptoms of COVID-19 and get tested immediately if you experience even the mildest of symptoms.

We also remind the community that we continue to see new exposure locations being identified in other jurisdictions at this time. Anyone who has attended any close or casual locations in any jurisdiction must follow the relevant health advice.
