The Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) has recommended that all people should wait for 3 months (90 days) after a confirmed COVID-19 infection before they get their next COVID-19 vaccine dose.
This applies to all people (aged 5 years and above) recommended to get a COVID-19 vaccination, including second, third, booster and winter doses.
After a COVID-19 infection, other vaccines (for example, influenza vaccine) can be given as per usual.
If you have questions or concerns regarding COVID-19 vaccines you should discuss with your GP or other healthcare provider.
