ACT Health has this afternoon been notified of another three (3) confirmed cases of COVID-19. This brings the total number of active cases in the ACT to four (4).

All three cases are close contacts of the positive case that was announced earlier today in the ACT.

Investigations are underway into these results and ACT Health are putting in place appropriate public health actions.

We will provide further information, including new exposure locations, once we have further information from the case investigations that are currently taking place. This will likely be in tomorrow’s COVID-19 update.

The cases will also be included as part of tomorrow’s COVID-19 case figures.

A reminder to Canberrans that the ACT lockdown has now commenced and that we are likely to see the COVID-19 situation in the ACT continue to evolve quickly in the coming days.

We will continue to provide regular updates on the situation as it emerges – as we have done throughout the pandemic.
