29 May 2020

The ACT Government has today launched a Business Resource Kit to help Canberra businesses navigate Stage 2.1 of the COVID-19 response.

The next phase, Stage 2.1 of Canberra’s Recovery Plan, takes effect at 11.59pm Friday 29 May. It involves managing the health risks of the new coronavirus, whilst driving the recovery of the city – from the economy through to wellbeing.

The Business Resource Kit has been created to help businesses navigate this next step and reduce the impact of COVID-19. It includes guidelines for creating a COVID Safety Plan, posters for displaying in your business premises, fact sheets and case studies to provide up to date information and clear advice, and other useful resources for businesses to use as they transition to stage 2.1 of Canberra’s Recovery Plan.

We know it’s been difficult for local businesses to adapt to the new business environment and we want to support business to continue trading.

If you have any further questions or require extra support, you can call the ACT COVID-19 Helpline on (02) 6207 7244 which is available between 8am and 8pm daily.

We continue to ask Canberrans to remember their responsibilities to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 over the coming weeks:

  • Keep 1.5 metres apart whenever possible
  • Continue to practise good hand and respiratory hygiene
  • Stay home if you are unwell
  • Get tested if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms.
