This is an old news item. For the latest testing centre opening hours, see where to get tested in the ACT.

Due to an ongoing supply issue of materials needed to conduct COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests, the ACT Health testing clinic at Holt will remain closed on Monday 17 January 2022.

The Gold Creek clinic will be relocated back to its previous location at Perce Douglas Memorial Playing Fields as the school is preparing for the return of students in coming weeks.

It will operate on Monday for reduced hours from 8am to 1pm, due to the limited supplies available.

Kambah drive through clinic will again be used to distribute rapid antigen tests (RATs) from 8am to 4pm.

The Mitchell and Garran clinics will continue to operate as usual.

ACT Health will continue to prioritise testing for people with the highest risk of exposure to COVID-19 and those with symptoms at all testing clinics.

This includes people who are household contacts of a confirmed case, are at high or moderate risk of contracting COVID-19 or who have been instructed by ACT Health to get a test.

People presenting to Kambah to collect RATs will be required to complete a declaration upon arrival that they meet the criteria to be tested.

They will be given a pack that includes two RAT kits and instructions on when the second test will need to be undertaken, in line with their individual circumstances.

People who return a positive RAT will be required to isolate immediately, register their positive result using the online form and follow all further instructions for people who test positive to COVID-19.

The opening hours for all COVID-19 testing sites, can be found on the COVID-19 website.

Waiting times for these locations are also on the website and are regularly updated.

We are continuing to assess the capacity of the testing clinics day-by-day depending on the testing supplies we have available.

More information about clinic arrangements for the rest of the week will be shared soon.
