23 March 2021
COVID-19 vaccinations for phase 1b started on Monday 22 March 2021.
We are pleased to see the interest and take-up of COVID-19 vaccine bookings by Canberrans who can get it as part of this phase.
Please be aware COVID-19 vaccine demand is high right now, but supply is limited. Over the coming weeks, additional appointments and clinics will be announced by the Australian Government as more vaccines become available.
The ACT Government is working closely with the Australian Government Department of Health to make this rollout as smooth as possible.
Please remember to be kind and patient to the people making your bookings and answering your questions.
We want to reassure you that everyone who wants to get the COVID-19 vaccine will have the opportunity to get it.
Use the Australian Government’s Vaccine Eligibility Checker to find out when it is your turn to get vaccinated against COVID-19 and how to book if you are eligible now or speak to your GP.
You can also call the National COVID-19 vaccine helpline on 1800 020 080 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
