There have been 52 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the ACT in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday.
Of these cases, 30 are linked to known cases or ongoing clusters. 10 cases were in quarantine during their infectious period, 29 spent varying degrees of time in the community while infectious and 13 remain under early investigation.
There are now 617 cases who have recovered with five (5) in the past 24 hours. This means there are now 319 active cases associated with this outbreak.
As of 9am this morning ACT Health continues to work with just under 1,500 people who have self-identified as close contacts of ACT outbreaks.
There are currently 13 patients in ACT hospitals, including three (3) in intensive care requiring ventilation.
More than 3,200 tests were collected across the ACT yesterday, from both Government and private providers. There were 2,923 negative test results in the 24 hours to 9am today.
Our vaccination efforts continue across the ACT with total vaccine doses administered at ACT Government Clinics now at 323,473.
We have over 390 current exposure locations listed for the ACT. Canberrans are asked to keep up to date on new locations on the ACT COVID-19 website.

We know Canberrans are looking forward to spending more time with family and friends this long weekend. However, we remind everyone that we are still in lockdown and urge people to follow the health directions this weekend.
We also continue to urge Canberrans to get tested with the mildest of COVID-19 symptoms and as soon as symptoms start.
When outside the home, make sure you are protecting yourself and your loved ones by:
- wearing a mask and wearing it properly
- maintaining good hand hygiene
- physical distancing from people outside of your household – at least 1.5 metres, and
- checking in everywhere you go with the Check In CBR app.
