Canberrans are asked to keep up to date on new locations on the ACT COVID-19 website, with exposure sites expected to grow in the coming days.

Affected transport routes

A number of new light rail and bus transport routes have been identified as exposure locations overnight.

A full list of the affected transport routes can be found on the exposure locations page on the ACT COVID-19 website.

ACT Health is working closely with Transport Canberra to access MyWay card data and use Check In CBR app data to identify people on the routes at the specific dates and times.

Transport Canberra is carrying out cleaning of the vehicles as a matter of priority. As a result, Transport Canberra is experiencing minor disruptions to the bus and light rail network. For further information on delays or cancellations go to the Transport Canberra website.

Testing update

From this morning, a new testing clinic has opened on the southside of Canberra.

The new testing clinic will be located at the Erindale Active Leisure Centre and at this stage is being used for targeted testing.

Having this option for targeted testing, allows us to divert our high-risk contacts for testing, creating capacity at our larger testing sites.

Stay COVID safe

We want to thank Canberrans for doing the right thing and staying at home. This is the single most important thing we can all do at this time to limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community.

We remind people that if undertaking essential activity out of the home to precautions to protect yourself and your family. Wear a mask, maintain good hand hygiene, keep your distance and use the Check In CBR app.
