There have been 51 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the ACT in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday. This brings the total number of cases for this outbreak to 1,313.
Out of the total cases, 32 are linked to known cases or ongoing clusters with 19 of these household contacts.
13 cases were in quarantine during their whole infectious period and 22 have been assessed as presenting a risk of transmission to others.
There are now 833 cases who have recovered with 27 in the past 24 hours. This means there are now 474 active cases associated with this outbreak.
As of 9am this morning ACT Health continues to work with over 1,600 people who have self-identified as close contacts of ACT outbreaks.
As at 8pm yesterday there were 16 patients in ACT hospitals, including eight (8) in intensive care and five (5) of these cases requiring ventilation.
More than 3,200 tests were collected across the ACT yesterday, from both Government and private providers. There were more than 2,321 negative test results in the 24 hours to 9am today.
Our vaccination efforts continue across the ACT with total vaccine doses administered at ACT Government Clinics now at 359,584.
We have over 370 current exposure locations listed for the ACT. Canberrans are asked to keep up to date on new locations on the ACT COVID-19 website.

We continue to remind Canberrans that we are still in lockdown. This means minimising your time in the community and only leaving your home for the approved reasons.
Where possible, you should also continue to undertake essential activities within your local region.
When out in the community, make sure you are:
- wearing a mask and wearing it properly
- maintaining good hand hygiene
- physical distancing from people outside of your household - at least 1.5 metres, and
- check in everywhere you go with the Check In CBR app.
