Public Health Directions

The ACT Public Health Directions have today been updated.

To support these Directions, and in recognition of the ongoing case numbers of COVID-19 in the ACT, the Minister for Health has signed an extension of the Public Health Emergency Declaration until 12 February 2022.

Updates to high-risk geographical areas

ACT Health has reviewed the list of high-risk geographical areas and will make the following amendments, to come into effect from 11.59pm tonight. Anyone who has spent time in a high-risk geographical area in the previous 14 days and is seeking to enter the ACT after 11:59pm on 12 November 2021 is required to seek an exemption from ACT Health. Conditions that are applied to the exemption will be dependent on the vaccination status of the travellers.
