Sadly, ACT Health has been notified of the death of two people with COVID-19 yesterday – a man in his 60s and a woman in her 70s. Both people had been receiving intensive care prior to their deaths.

ACT Health extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of these people at this difficult time.

New cases of COVID-19 recorded in the ACT in the 24 hours to 8pm yesterday: 5

Active cases: 170

Total number of cases for this outbreak: 1,656

Patients in ACT hospitals as at 8pm yesterday: 8 (including 3 in intensive care and 3 ventilated)

Negative test results received in the 24 hours to 9am today: 978
