Economic Survival Package

Supporting our community

The ACT Government is delivering a $137 million economic survival package to support the ACT community through the public health emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The first phase of this multi-stage plan will aim to help small business, protect as many jobs as possible, support Canberra households and support our most vulnerable.

The government will provide all appropriate resources to support ACT public health services to continue providing essential health services to the community and to respond to the additional demands of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This includes funding for respiratory assessment clinics, an increase in inpatient beds and ICU capacity across the Territory, maintenance of COVID-19 testing capacity and the purchase of additional medical equipment and supplies.

See below to find out what support may be available for you through the ACT Government.
