Support for workers

Working from home where it works for you and your employer is still encouraged at this time.

If you cannot work from home, physical distancing and good hygiene practices should be maintained.

It is also important to remember that if you cannot work from home and you are sick, you must not attend your workplace. You must stay at home and away from others and if you should get tested for COVID-19 if have the following symptoms:

  • Fever of 38 degrees or greater (or recent history of fever such as chills or night sweats); or
  • Respiratory infection (such as shortness of breath, cough, or sore throat).

If you are experiencing financial hardship related to reduction or loss of employment you may be entitled to support though the ACT Government’s Economic Survival Package.
