Infection control training and resources

ACT businesses should consider how they will keep their workers, themselves and others safe while trading.
Several business categories are required to develop and follow a COVID Safety Plan.

Business should also consider additional measures such as infection control training, which can show them how to implement infection control policies and procedures.

The following training options and resources are available to ACT businesses and their employees.

COVID-19 Infection Control Training (free)

Free nationally accredited training is now available to help ACT businesses be COVID safe.

This training aims to support businesses to re-open safely, reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 and support consumer confidence.

Fully funded training places are available in a selection of infection control Skill Sets for customer-facing workers (including business owners and supervisors).

The Skill Sets are designed to complement, rather than replace, existing non-accredited infection control training.

For more information go to the Skills Canberra website.
